Millions of people around the world believe that Copper and Magnets can help relieve and prevent the pain of many hand and joint related problems.
Copper in your left hand and your right hand over very strong magnets = the best of both worlds..
I don't claim that the bar will help, BUT the reduced weight alone is beneficial especially as there is no sacrifice in tonality, indeed it's already been noted that the infamous "3rd String Whine" is dramatically reduced by not having metal at both ends of the string. |

MY prices are changing on November 1st.. At the moment they are all wrong; upon checking I’ve discovered than my prices are almost 20% TOO LOW.
I calculated them BEFORE Brexit and based them upon the 2010 prices for Tribotone.
NOW, after Brexit because the dollar is so strong against Sterling my prices really favour the Dollar or USA Buyer..~
I’ve priced the 1” Standard 10 string = 3.3125” (84mm) 7.7 ounce (2218g) ($120) £87.75 When in fact £87.75 is ONLY $107.15. Consequently my price for this bar (And the others pro rata) will increase to £98.27..
This discrepancy is constant across all my price structure. So regretfully I will have to increase the price especially as the raw material comes from DuPont USA.

Your bar finally made it here yesterday. It's amazing. Great tone and very quiet on the strings. I've been using the powder coated bars since they came out to try to tame string noise my 1934 Frypan and BD6. Both have really high output pickups making for more string noise than I'd like, particularly on long slides.
The powder coated bars were an improvement over the bare metal bars and your bar is even quieter and noticeably smoother moving around on the strings. It's already my favorite.
Congratulations, you've got a winner here. The little wooden chest and velvet bags are a classy touch.
Now if you can just figure out some way to send me a talent infusion...........

Hi Basil,
I got mine about a week ago (pedal-steel size) and I've been using it on non-pedal and like it a lot! I'll be trying it on my pedal steel tomorrow!
So far, so good!

Basil - As advertised! I've had mine (3/4" X 3") for a few days, and at first I was a little concerned about the weight (it feels about 25% lighter than the powder coated tone bar I've been using), but with every session I like this bar more and more.
My dream is achieve a tone like Dick McIntire. I know it's a stretch, yet this bar is getting me closer than ever...

Just got mine and played it at a gig last night right out of the box....fabulous bar! It replaces my Tribotone, which has been my favorite since I have owned it.....hard to believe it could get any better, but it apparently does with use

I was a very early adopter with an unusually large size/taper (3 1/4 x 1 1/4 tapering to 1 1/8") and it';s the only pedal steel bar I use on a regular basis.
It's been dropped countless times on everything from carpet to asphalt to concrete - I was just looking it over and the only visible scratches and dings are on the beat-to-crap looking copper insert!

A million thanks for your support Jim, yes, the "Sneaky Bar" is slightly larger than the norm but if it floats your boat, great, It would also serve as an anchor for the said boat. !
I have seen a bar with dents in it, but that's because it was used (Presumably) as a hammer on the lower wound strings.. I won't say who but it made me think twice about the guarantee.. !
