I have a split when lowering G#/F# on the sixth w/ my B pedal....Is there a way to give me more slack on the pull rod to my B pedal? It is tight to the pull finger. Thanks

I had the same problem awhile back. Double check how tight the wing nuts are on your pedal rack. This happened on a guitar that I didn't take down for awhile. Just sat at the studio. Suddenly started clicking. Flipped upside down and fooled around with pulls and guides and fingers...reached up one day and gave each wingnut a half turn...fixed!

If I'm understanding your question, you just need to increase the travel in your pedal. After that you'll need to back the nylon tuning nuts on 3 & 6 out to re-tune the A notes. Do this as much or as little as needed to suit whatever feel you're after. If it's the Carter in your sig that you're talking about, you would back out the little allen head pedal stop screw in the aluminum rail behind the front apron to allow the pedal to drop a little farther. If you want to keep the pedal height where it is now, just tighten the ball joint connector on the pedal rod to raise it back up to your taste. Shouldn't take much.

The pedal rack clamps on Carters are a little anemic too, if the rack does move you can add some small hose clamps or something similar on the legs between the rubber tips and the rack to keep the it pushed snug against the bottom of the leg clutches.
