Has anyone made a custom tuning on the Sonic Research Turbo Tuner ST122A?
If so was it worth the effort?
The Newman E9 and C6 is preloaded.
Thanks

I have the mini turbo tuner and have loaded b0b's
Meantone E9th & C6th presets into, and it's working out very nicely for me

Did it take you very long to install the new tuning?

I made my combination opens and pedals/knee levers (except 4th string F# raise and 4th string Eb lowers)
into one program (same as I have on a Peterson). Its a hassle with the ST122(or ST122a)and I had to go back over it a couple of times to make sure I had everything programmed correctly.

I did the same thing for both E9th and C6th.

Thanks Jack...I've done the same with Peterson and it was ok but the ST122A looked a bit more involved....Wondering if it was worth the effort...
Thanks

Michael,
It can be done on line trough the Sonic website. The interface isn't fancy, but
works fine

A very good friend in Oklahoma uses the Emmons tuning Technic by the chiming and has great success with it. However he has a far better memory than I and never bothered to load it into his Peterson. I would very much like to try the Emmons tuning style and make note of the + and – cents reading and load them onto my turbo Tuner 122A..
