Just happened to see these guys today at the annual Cranberry Festival, Chatsworth, NJ. It was a beautiful day and some mighty fine steel playin' by forum member Ted Russell. Actually the whole band was great and lead singer Tom Baz is amazing.
For those who don't know, Chatsworth is in the Pine Barrens of South Jersey. Geographically only an hour away from Philadelphia and two hours from New York City, but really a world away culturally. Traditional Americana, blue grass and country music. Cool

Sorry but that Olathe corn doesn't hold a candle to the SILVER QUEEN!
Come-on' - put up yer' dukes! Mr. Green

Wow! Thanks guys! Yes, Bullzeye is a professionally solid, tight band, and plays a nice mix of old, new and original country. All the players are top notch, and lead singer Tom Baz does a fantastic job singing it all. The great Jimmy Heffernan and I actually split the pedal steel duties based on our availability. The Chatsworth Cranberry Fest is a really nice annual two-day family event, and fortunately this year we were blessed with spectacular October weather in the beautiful and rural pine lands of southern New Jersey. It was really nice to meet you Frank, and thanks for posting this. Sorry we didn't get to talk longer, but thanks for coming up and saying “hi”, and I wish you success and a lot of fun with your pedal steel studies! Let me know if there's anything I could help you with. By the way Tom Baz has a CD of original songs currently available on itunes entitled “Tom Baz – The Kind of Man I Am.” P.S. Bob Grado can tear it up too!!
