No longer for sale, see last post
1983, very nice axe . 8+5 with the original style pedal rack. Emmons setup, E's on left knees. V-Lever drops 6 ( can easily drop 5), RKL raise 1,2 and 7, RKR drop 2 and 9. Stock single coils. Very clean case. C6 standard with drop 3 and raise 4
I was told that this Steel came from Steel Guitar Nashville before Bobbe passed.
Guitar was recently setup by longtime Emmons factory tech Doug Palmer here in NC. Excellent player with glorious PPull tone.
PM or email with questions.
thx for looking

no longer for sale, I never really played this one much , always played the 81. took it out last night and learned that this Steel has something special. Action and tone, it will become a regular player. Tone slightly darker (more mellow) than the 81 and required no messin' with the N112 mid range. Very strong P Pull identity in the lower frets.
I knew if I took it out this might happen. I wasn't wrong !
Plus the 5 knee lever configuration is pretty much 'zactly what I would want in another one, shy 1 lever for C6th.
It's no longer the best P Pull deal on Forum ! One of you would have grabbed a bolt of lightening !
sorry !
Moral to the story, the Forum has some great guitars for sale and at some really nice prices. If you see one of interest, and you are a serious buyer , PULL THE TRIGGER or this may happen again !

Good decision
I sold a woody push/pull back in '79 (which wound up in Chris Ivey's stable), that I always regretted letting go. Fortunately, I found (& bought) it's twin at Jim Palenscar's shop a few years ago.
I can tell you: Insufficient funds are always easier to bear than seller's remorse. |

Those Keystone-head push-pulls tend to be great guitars. I really miss the one I had even though I have two pretty great Emmons. _________________ I need an Emmons! |

Ok so now you're putting the 81 on the block right? You can keep both but that would be greedy wouldn't it? |

Funny, the way I see it is I'm keeping the family together !
I had this particular Steel for sale twice , came close to selling it but it never came to be.
Divine intervention at work !
The 81 wasn't even listed for sale when I bought it, a friend sent me a message asking if I was interested ! Couldn't pass it up but did sell my Carter to grab that one. The Carter was a great Steel .
Divine intervention TWICE
I did track the 83 on one project a couple of months ago
