I am bursting with pleasure!
My new Ben-Rom 017 has finally been delivered after a SNAFU with UK customs. The guitar arrived, safely and really well packed to make its journey across the pond courtesy of Fedex.
It is everything I have dreamed of, and more, and I feel compelled to sing Bent's praises.
Throughout the build process, Bent has been in touch all the way, from the initial specification discussions, through to the purchase of the timber (beautiful!) the assembly process, the fitting of the metalwork and of course the YouTube video with Dale Rivard giving it a good airing. (Ain't email a wonderful thing.)
It was the YouTube presentations that finally made me choose Bent to make this guitar for me. Anyone who is prepared to put their work 'out there' deserves great credit. His work is also well regarded by Forumites and that was another strong plus.
There is a long wait time because Bent makes 'em one at a time. However, when he's making yours, you know it has his full attention!
I cannot commend Bent and his work highly enough.
If you are thinking of having a new steel made, then see what Bent can offer - you will not be disappointed.

Nick (Alan)

Bent is an awesome builder of Steel Guitars, and Dale Rivard, does an incredible job of showcasing Bents beautiful looking and wonderful sounding Ben Rom’s...
Glad and honored that Bent asked me to put together a couple of his video’s for him.
Pretty sure these guitars will only go up in value, the more people see them.

Hi Steven
Photos are beyond my capabilities. Check the earlier postings with Dale Rivard playing it - everything I could have hoped for.
Or come along to the Buck Inn on Sunday!! (This one for UK residents only!)

Nick Thanks so much for your kind words on my efforts. It was indeed a pleasure to work with you throughout the 017 project. It makes the work so much easier and better when I am able to stay in close touch with my customers - all through the planning, building and shipping phase!.
I am glad that the Lorelei turned out so well. Thanks also to all of you who are so kind with your comments,
