Has any of you tried the TC Electronic BH250 bass head for steel? My GK MB 200 got a sit in singer's water dumped on it and it fried. While looking for a replacement I ran across these. A little more power at a lower price.

Dave, maybe you could fix it; here is a link for the power amp board: click here

Another option might be the Carvin BX250, which has a lot of features and is a good value. I have one and like it a lot.

Hey Dave,i use one regularly now.I bought it to carry as a spare amp that is small and lightweight that i could keep out of sight in my car,the first night i took it with me my nashville 400 went south so i used it and i love it.You can download one effect into it which works ok,i use it for chorus but you can change it with an i-phone.I purchased the 800 watt version of it recently but couldnt the tone to shape what i like,i returned it and got the gallien krueger mb-500 but havent got to try it yet.i will say i use an eq pedal to tame the highs and lows and there is no reverb,i use two 15"black widows and it has tons of power,my back loves it too.i purchased mine at guitar center and you can return within 45 days if you dont like it but i like mine...
