I am selling for a friend who got it from a forumite, I really don't know if is the original body. I do know that Mark Giles did this one, but he also did most of the Carters. It is a nice guitar.
thanks.

I notice the fretboard is not a standard Carter. Is it from a custom order? It does look good and will make someone a great guitar. It looks like an MCI fretboard.

the original mica body was damaged in shipment to another buyer, it was replaced with a new lacquer body, but the fretboards(original) were re installed and looked really bad. So I replaced them with the ones I use, which are duplicates of the MCI boards. Mark Giles did the lacquer work, which is impeccable.
Thanks for the observations.
Jim

I don't think fretboard really matter too much does not effect sound or playability.

I like the MCI fretboards. I think they look a little better than the Carter ones. And they seem fitting, with the common lineage.

Pretty axe! I have a red Carter s-10 that is similar.
