This Emmons is Serial # 2903 D, mine, bought new in 1982 (but could have been manufactured in 1981, don't know)is 2896D. So it appears that this guitar is most likely a made during the same timeframe as it is was the 7th made after they made mine. _________________ John Brabant

Hey Mike:
Couple things. Where did you purchase your steel? What are you replacing it with? I see you live in Brooklyn; I grew up in Babylon, NY, have you been there? _________________ John Brabant

John -
Couple things back at ya...
Where did you purchase your steel?
I took it on trade back in about 2006 for a Sho~Bud Super Pro.
What are you replacing it with?
Last year I procured a gorgeous 1970's S10 Push Pull and it is all I need. (Other than an SD10 Legrande which I'll probably keep )
PS: yes, they are all black.
I see you live in Brooklyn; I grew up in Babylon, NY, have you been there?
I grew up in Sayville and my folks now live in East Ispli, so I am well familiar with Babylon!
Best,

I've still got this Emmons for sale. Please make me an offer. Would entertain a trade for the right six string - Strats, Teles, Gibson ES-styles.... _________________ https://www.instagram.com/milkphillips/ |

Mike: I bet if this had the old style pedals, it would sell quicker. Collectors don't seem to like the new style pedals. I know I don't. Just my opinion. Thanks, Tommy..... |

That may be. I like the narrow pedals, myself. I'm used to them from my LeGrande.
I'm entertaining part cash / part trade, too.
Thanks all! _________________ https://www.instagram.com/milkphillips/ |
