I while back someone post a fairly long list of turnaround variation, chord substitutions for this common turnaround, maybe taken from a jazz book? Anyone know?
Maybe a discussion on substitutions such as the intro for Night Life? |

The post you're referring to may have been one by Greg Cutshaw, who tabbed out a number of I-VI-II-V phrases for E9 in a post here on the forum several years ago. You'll have to search to find it, but if you're thinking of the same post I am, it was extremely useful and practical. If Greg sees this he might have the link. Good luck.
