There’s a steel guitar made near Nantucket
Its third string breaks when I pluck it
Frustration sets in
And I fear in a whim
I’ll take this guitar and just chuck it!

Who's notes rang in tune, never muddy
When he changed to ET,
I said "That's not for me!"

Unlike the sound of a midi workstation
You’ll get cries of “what in tarnation!”
Although it takes skill
It helps if you will
Tune it to just-intonation

Playing Steel for us is enjoyment
For our families, it's mostly annoyment
One thing's for certain
You'll soon end up hurtin'
If you think it's for gainful employment
And….
He spends too much time on the Forum
But in doing learns tact and decorum
He should be out playing
At the computer he's staying
While his band is freaked out looking for him
Ok,Ok....before somebody starts yelling, I better stop.

This is very funny
It's after Christmas
and I'm still out of money
bought a steel,profex,power amp,and cabinet.
My wife thought I gave up my drug habit !
Playing steel is my high
it helps me get by
but my wife wishes to Chain saw
and slab it.

"Equal Tempered?" or "Just Intonation?"
