After much deliberation, I have decided to go back to an SD-10. So up for sale is this super clean 2007 Carter D-10. Great sounding guitar with Bill Lawrence pickups, and it plays great. The included Carter case is in near perfect shape and also includes the original Carter Owners Manual. $2,700 plus shipping*. It's pretty much been sitting in my practice room and only been out of the house a few times at rehearsals.

You may recognize the great photos. These are the same ones that were taken by Damir when he placed the add in January. I bought the guitar from him.

*If the buyer is somewhere between Panama City, FL and Columbus Ohio, I might be able to deliver it. I will be heading up to that area on Oct. 7 and returning home on Oct. 11.

Thanks for looking and feel free to PM or email with any questions.
Bob

Probably so Damir! I have so much to learn on the E9 neck, I don't have time to learn the C6 neck. And for now, I need to concentrate on E9. Going to be playing a lot of country and no jazz or even Western swing. Like you said, I'll probably kick myself later because this is a great guitar. But someone who needs both necks will really enjoy this Carter!

That's a beauty. I've seen one of these in person and they look absolutely gorgeous. Not to fancy, just right. I could play that if only had the money.

Geez, wish I could afford it, I have to payoff credit card due to an accident I had, and the other guy was cited, he could not afford my rental and I had to put that on credit card, and the only money I got was for my car and some medical, the driver did not have full coverage on his car, so it is going to be a while before I can but another Steel guitar again, unless I win the lottery, no chance there.

The color in the pictures does not come across well.

Is this the chrome colored mica Carter that was on the forum a few months ago?

Yes, this is the chrome guitar that was available in January. That's when I bought it. Damir, who said yellow? I think someone said that about the other Carter for sale? Confused This guitar is black except for the chrome front. Here are a couple more pics and you can see the reflection of different things in the chrome.

Robert: Thank you for the nice response and posting a couple more pics.

The very first photo in the entire thread looked like the front was chrome from the reflections, but with some finishes you're never quite sure. Plus, that chrome color scheme is very unique, and I'd hazard a guess that there aren't many of them around. (I've never seen another one, FWIW.)

I remember lusting after that guitar when I saw it for sale a few moons ago. If I had use for another guitar.......

Anyway, back to the top.
