Does anybody have any of those chrome "diamonds" that Fender used to cover up the bolt heads on the front and back of their Stringmasters. I am restoring a couple of Stringmasters and am in need of some.
Thanks,
Erv

I could make them in my metal shop and you can get them chromed reasonably priced. I did notice they aren't flat but have a slight bevel on all four surfaces which I don't know if I could do. I could also make them out of aluminum and give them a good polish which would serve the purpose. Email me if you want something. This is a forum freebee of course. Ron

If you cut a form out of a very hard wood, you should also be able to shape the bevel without too much trouble! IMHO! Aren't the rear-diamonds just slightly smaller than the front-diamonds on a S/M? They are the same on the Dual-Pro and Custom. (both are the smaller size)

On the quad Stringmaster I just acquired, It has all 4 of the diamonds but the end is broken off of one on the front at the screw hole. I would really like to replace it.

On my S/M, the diamonds are larger in front and smaller in back.

JW,
I sent you an e-mail. I sure do appreciate it!

The diamonds are bigger on the front than on the back. The back necks are thinner and the larger diamonds wouldn't fit.
