Not sure what you all will think of this, early reactions want me to go back to "Somebody done somebody wrong" songs but doing note for note what has been done before is no attraction for me.
The inspiration for this was The Book of Kells written and Illustrated in about 800ad by Monks on the Isle of Iona in Scotland.

| This is beautiful work. I think photo credits and locations would be good. Steel is a great instrument for ambient music. Are there other instruments on the soundtrack? Whether it is ambient or other styles, it is always evident when an artist has put him or herself into a piece of work. |

John, thank you for coming to listen, I'm glad you enjoyed my piece. I only ever use my own photographs so any credit is to me. The location is written in the sand on the opening photograph it reads "Iona" which is an Island off the west coast of Scotland. There is also a reference to the location in the story of The Book of Kells written below the Video where it tells the Book was written here on this Island in the year 800ad.
Sorry if I didn't make these things clear enough.
There is Keyboards and Drums on the recording apart from Steel Guitar.

| Sounds terrific, reminds me of 1970s work by the Norwegian guitarist Terje Rypdal. This kind of "ambient" music never sounds dated. Thanks for posting it! |
