Numero Group unlocks the vaults of Felton W. Williams Jr. The new release called Downriver Revival focuses on the output of Felton Williams, a self-made record producer who operated his own Double U Sound in the rec room of his family home in Ecorse, Michigan, about seven miles south of Detroit, between 1967 and '73. Williams worked as an electrician for Ford and used his skills to build much of the equipment in his ad hoc studio.

Hi Del,(Grace)
Though it does not show it in this presentation, I was there to help the building of Double U Sound Studios. As a matter of fact, a lot of my earlier training in my audio engineering, was working with "Uncle Felton"(as I called him)was working with him, in the constructing of this studio.
I`m am thankful to have had the opportunity, it was a blessing. He will be greatly missed.
