Terry W, Would you ask Dreadfulwater if he took basic training at Ft Leonard Wood in 1970? I remember him being from Oklahoma, but don't recall if his first name was Jimmy? We were in the same Platoon.

I've been laying low for the past 5 years and not playing in a band or any shows. Just occasional studio work. Mostly sitting in my toy room, playing with my toys and dissecting others licks. Live country music is 99% extinct in my area. _________________ 1976 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics 427 pickup, 1975 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics X-12 pickup, Revelation preamp, Carbon Copy Delay and Hall Of Fame Reverb, Crown XLS 1002, 2- 15" Eminence Wheelhouse speakers, ShoBud Pedal, Effects Pedals. 1949 Epiphone D-8. |

Well the show has come and gone. Shame on those who didn't make it. There was a good lineup of pickers and the back up band did a super job. The highlights for me and my guest was the youngest (Jacob King) and the oldest (Virgil Watts). Jacob plays well beyond his years and had tone to the bone. Virgil showed us how it's done on that triple neck Fender, no volume pedal and smooth as silk. Jerry Byrd would be proud of his excellent performance. Mike McGee layed some serious jazz on us and Terry Bethel was smoking hot with his big tone and slick style. It's a 3 hour drive for me each way and I'm glad I made it. Thanks to Terry Wood for his efforts and his outstanding playing. Max King did some fine vocals and Terrys female singer was terrific. I am looking forward to the next show.
