Are any of the steel guitar manufacturers going to have a booth at this year's show in Anahiem?

Carter Steel Guitars will be there at booth 5828 in hall B.

Stop by and say "Hi" to Billy Phelps and myself.

Ask for a "Starterized CD featuring Billy on the Carter-Starter.

We will also be showing some new products this year at NAMM.

John, are you going to leave YOUR black D-10 over at the Peavey booth? I would like to play it again!

No. Peavey usually doesn't have room for steels anymore. Too many new products for "the young and the loud".

However, I think you'll find the Carter Booth (#5828) VERY interesting this year.

Make sure you stop by and get a copy of the Starterized CD.

You'll find info here:
http://www.thenammshow.com/

You'll need to get a badge. This show is NOT open to the public. You can try your local music stores and see if they have any extras.

We only show and take orders for the Dealer products we produce such as Carter-Starters at the NAMM show.

Carter Steel Guitars brand professional guitars are neither displayed nor sold in our booth (there is one, however, in the Peterson Tuners Booth). So there are no "show specials" available on Carter pro model steel guitars at THE NAMM Show.

We have been running some very nice specials on Carter pro model steel guitars since November 2004. If you would like more information about them, call Ann at 972-475-2324. These specials will end 1/31/2005.

Correction,

I am NOT attending the NAMM with LINE 6 this year. I officially resigned my position. I wanted my last week to be the week of NAMM...they didn't think so.

I understand, they have a bunch of TOP secret stuff to talk about before the show..and didn't want to share that info. with me..if I was no longer part of the gang.
Oh well....It would have been a blast!

I will be attending the summer one...on my own.

Line 6 didnt even have a demo display booth on the floor this year, just a dealer conferance room upstairs. I was bummed not to be able ask any questions and try out any of their new gear. I guess theyre too big to deal with John Q. Public types like me.

Sorry about that....

Although that is not why they are not showing. They are saving several over a HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars by NOT showing at the NAMM. They are using that saved dollar amount to help dealers on a local level by having freight specials throughout the year.

You could have still gone to their meeting room to ask questions.

Since the show is over ,....you can e-mail a question or two to me if you want. I know the gear pretty well and use it every day.
