I am at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield Ks and had an unexpected treat of hearing Bill play his double neck Rickenbacker with a great western swing and cowboy music group. I call them a mix of Riders in the Sky and The Time Jumpers. Bill said he uses Leon Mc's E13 th tuning and Joaquin Murphys C6th/am7 tuning. Bill got lots of chances to play on each song and show off his talents....he is a great player on non pedal steel...very tasty on swing and cowboy music....very nice and interesting man to talk to as well. btw he is also a great guitar player. Check the group out on youtube and you will see and hear Bill play !! Hope some of you know more about him...the group is based in Kansas City.
