Has anyone heard of a pedal steel brand called "Boots"?

"Boots" was a Canadian PS company out of Alberta. Short-lived I believe. I saw one come up for sale last year in Vancouver. I can't speak to the quality as I've never seen one up close.
It's a tough name to search because "pedal steel boots" comes up with a million old guys talking about their footwear.

I finally found out who makes Boots guitars. In fact, he is building a lap steel for me.
