I had Bruce build me a D10 back in 1995 and sold it in 2007 and have regretted it ever since. I feel fortunate to have found a Zum to replace it. This guitar sounds and plays great and to my eyes, is a thing of beauty as well...wish I could play well enough to deserve it, but I will keep trying ! Just wanted to share my joy !

Thanks for all of the positive responses ! Micky, the seat is one I have had for over 20 years...just so happen to match the steel, so I thought that was kinda cool. George I will be in Arizona next week, when are you coming out ? Look forward to seeing you there.

We won't be leaving here till the 26th of Dec. If we don't get stuck in another storm like last year we should get there the 28th so I'll be at the Friday jam at Sunland.

Have played out with this steel for a month now and just wanted to say that with my Freeloader, the nickel Live Strings and the Holy Grail reverb thru my Carvin
BX Micro bass amp, I am really pleased with the sound of this guitar...it plays great and is a keeper for sure for me. A few more knee lever adjustments and I will be all set.

Larry,If you feel you're just not making any headway learning how to play, you can just give me a call as Ponca City would be a short drive if I kept it to around 100MPH on the way.

Larry what year model is that. I have one that looks like it, that Bruce says is an 80 or 81 I think. When I gave him the serial number he told me the year model and said at the time he only built 5 like that.

I got a kick out of Tommy Dodd saying you can't find a better guitar than a Zum. They don't make them any better. Funny that Tommy was playing an Infinity at the Illinois Show. He said he had a chance to own one very reasonable but Zum is right there with the Infinity. I wouldn't sell either one of mine. Make it sing Larry
