Does anyone know the specs on a C6 ZB triple tap pickup. I need to have mine repaired.

Thanks, Dave

Dave, send it to Jerry Wallace of True tone pickups. He can rebuild your ZB pickup to original specs. 7.5K, 14.5K (some were 12.5K), and 23.5K on the taps. No microphonics after Jerry gets done with it.

Dave, I had one set done 7.5, 14.5, 23.5, and another set done 12.5, 17.5, 23.5 since the 7.5 tap is practicly useless. Jerry uses the same gauge wire that Zane used as well as allen head magnets. He does his usual outstanding job.

So did you use the one with the 17.5K on the the C neck and the other on the E neck?

Thanks, Dave

No. I put one set of pickups in one guitar and one in the other.

Rex, Jerry Wallace took the specs right off the Zane wound pickups.

Rex, you are correct. Jerry does use the same gauge wire.
