just purchased a Dobro D60S. SEEMS TO HAVE REALLY LITEWEIGHT STRINGS ON IT. what would be a good choice of strings to replace the present ones.thanksEd K

For squarenecks, most people like 16-56 phosphor bronze sets. D'Addario EJ42 is a popular set. Beard offers a set, Special 28, as does GHS, with similar gauges in Tim Scheerhorn TS1600 set.

There are also some slightly heavier and or differently gauged sets available, but any of the above sets should be fine if you have a squareneck GBDGBD tuning.

Elderly.com has a good selection of reso strings. b0b offers them here too, but the store is down for maintenance for a few days right now.
