It makes perfect sense that this stuff is coming around but the idea of a zero feedback seller coming along with minimal pictures, no back story or description, no provenance (even if we can guess at it), just laying it out there like here you are, idiots....

| Obviously the ad is set to appear like Michele Overstreet from Steel Guitars of Nashville is selling it. Just going by the sellers name and the location being Hendersonville. One phone call might answer a lot of questions about that ad. |

I suspect 10K is a first offering feeler. Lets not forget that this is an early P Pull, Bobbe owned it for over 30 years and it was indeed his primary guitar.

I've played this guitar several times. A little clunky but the tone is superb.

The big question is this - "Is Bobbe's provinence worth paying an additional $5.5K over the basic value"?

Also - those people who left guitars with Bobbe on consignment may have got their guitars back by now. If not they will be following eBay very closely from now on if the person selling his guitar is starting to put his (Bobbe's) property up for sale.

It has been my experience, as a collector of Emmons and Bigsby guitars, that a guitar known to have passed through Bobbe's hands loses value. It was the same with Shelbys and Shelby Mustangs as well.
I know I avoided any guitar that Bobbe had.
Just an observation based on my experience with guitars and my friendship with Carroll Shelby.
I have been asked about this particular guitar's price tag but have no comment as I am not interested in buying it.

that is a awesome playing and sounding guitar, and if I had money I would buy it, another thing is you can send in an offer, so 10K is not set in stone... and as far as Bobbe goes, I would suggest little less trash talk, and little more respect for the man...thank you
