A buddy of mine and I went in and bought this beautiful rosewood mica Emmons PP guitar here on the forum not too long ago. When it arrived, it had 8 and 4, with the inside KL's having a Sho-Bud setup.
We had the knee levers put back to Emmons, added a VKL, new fretboards, pedal bar buffed, and cleaned 'er up, as I was gonna keep it. It's now 8 and 5 Emmons setup with the VKL. This thing has that PP "tone to the bone"!
Then ol' Murphy's law kicked in, and just as I was gonna start playing 'er, I had a few personal issues come up, and now i'm not gonna be able to keep it.
We decided to let 'er go for what we now have in it, just to break even and someone will get a great deal on a REAL NICE guitar.
We have $3500 in the guitar after all the professional work that was done, and will let it go with case for that plus shipping and insurance. She's ready to go right out of the box!
Here's a few pix, and it WILL be available next week.
Thx, Pat

Pat: That's another really nice one. I wish I could justify buying just one more. I already have two exactly like that. I bet you'll regret letting that one go. If I hit the lottery, you'll be the first to know. Tommy......

I played this guitar and it has a really nice deep "BIG" push pull tone. I have a BL910 on one of my Push Pulls and thought it sounded good but this one sounded better. Considering changing the BL on mine back to an Emmons single coil now.

Some history.

This guitar has been set up by BOTH Clem Schmitz AND Billy Knowles in the past 3 months. (and now Pat )

Now you can't do better than that when it comes to push pulls! This thing should play itself !!!!!

I purchased it from the estate of the late Denny Connors, who was a Branson artist for over two decades. It was his pride and joy. The pride of ownership shows.

This may be the best of the best.....selling for about 1/2 of a brand new Promat!

I think if you want a push pull and have the resources to buy one, You should not think to hard on this guitar.

Man, purty for sure.my favorite Emmons color. Rosewood just looks purtier on Emmons than any other guitar.

Thanks for all the replies! She's a great one, and nice as they come.
One thing though, although I'm honored to be mentioned in the same sentence with Clem Schmitz and Billy Knowles, I personally didn't do any of the work that was done to it while in our possession. We had that done by an experienced PSG mechanic, so now 3 pros have put their magic touch on 'er!
We're not making any profit on this, just letting 'er go for we have in it, after the VKL addition and the inside KL's switched. She's now sporting an Emmons 8 & 5 setup, and also 7th string raise & 9th string lower on the RKR. A top notch ready to go guitar, and somebody's gonna get a real keeper!
Thx, Pat
