What a musical mind that guy had. I got to meet him at StLouis one year. I ask him if he was playing and he said at the time he didn't have a guitar. Shortly later he passed. Like Buddy, Hal, Jeff, Papa John, both Jimmy's, and many more all are missed very much. You to Scotty ! _________________ Bill |

Mike's Chalker DVD is highly recommended, I play my copy quite often. (Any time I received a compliment on my playing at a job I made it a point to play this DVD, put me squarely back into perspective!)..In the video link photo, is that a vintage 'Echoplex' he is running before the amp? |

Charlie McCoy is also prominently featured on Chalker's outstanding 1967 instrumental album of Gordon Lightfoot tunes entitled Nashville Sundown. Check out the hot E9 chicken pickin' and the virtuoso mouth organ on Alberta Bound:
