I just wanted to say some good words about Billy Knowles and Roger Howard at Steel Guitars East. These guys make a living working on the guitars (mostly Emmons) of the best players in the business. I'm just a hack who plays for fun mostly, but they treated me like a pro customer. I've got a 69 ZB D-10 and have had a stiff B pedal since I bought it. I did all the adjustments I could do to no avail. So while visiting my son at Ft. Bragg, I called Billy and made an appointment to have him look over my guitar. Had a great time meeting these guys, learned some new tricks for old ZB's and a couple of hours later, had a B pedal that was smoother than its ever been. If you"ve never dealt with these guys, everything they say about their skill and hospitality is true. I had a great time and learned a thing or two. Billy Knowles and Roger "Squeeze" Howard are two of the nicest guys in the business. Thanks again to both of them.
P.S
Jerry Fessenden, if you're reading this, Billy spoke highly of you and told me to say hi next time I saw you.

Billy is not only my friend but a premium tech as well. He has helped me on many occasions . He has a great shop and his knowledge of Steel guitars is 2nd to none.
He lives about 4 hrs from me, I keep asking him to move closer but so far he has refused to respond ! _________________ Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders , Eastman Mandolin ,
