Oh, man! My first steel was a red Marlen like this one...incredible guitar. Wish I still had mine.

Thanks, Alan. I've really become attached to the Marlen brand - it's really an underrated steel guitar company. My other steel is a gorgeous D-10 with Maple and Cocobolo wood.

Sounds really nice...I had 3 different ones, but my favorite was my first one, red SD10.

I have a 2001 black SD-10 3x5 that I bought new from Leonard
before he passed in 2002. I have a 05 Emmons reissue S-10 that I really like, but I love my Marlen

No dog in this hunt at all. Just want to say as well, these are great guitars, I have had 3-4 of them myself, all have been wonderful steels, and so was Leonard as a man and person to deal with.

Beautiful steel Jonathan,

Allen Howington

If I had the $s this guitar would have been mine. These guitars are so under rated and it's beautiful guitar.
