Can't wait to hear you work some jazz standards on that tuning.

Dom, you have me in awe!!!!!! What a set-up. Goes to show you what can be done when you put your heart into something. You should be proud of your accomplishment in just remembering the fretboard map. You'll never get Alzheimers!!!! Thanks so much for sharing your project. I'm also looking forward to hearing some tunes in due course.

Keep up the excellent work.

Geo

But once you include the G string to that tuning, doesn't cease being A6 tuning and become A13?

Yes, having the 6th (F#) and the flat7th (G) makes it an A13th. But since I added so many more notes than just the G, I just called A6th. (A fairly popular non-pedal tuning)

Wowie.

All the pedal steel chords by adding strings instead of levers... very nice! Great demo!

A player would ramp up grip and chord knowledge within months.

IQ psychologists will be studying the effects of this coped on human intelligence for centuries.
