has anyone played a song by tammy wynette calle,crying steel guitar.its a great song,i played it a couple of times,i also like playing charley pride songs.moe bandy uses a lot of steel in his music.

Never played it but that is a great song, with Lloyd Green on steel.

Welcome to the Forum, Garry. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and find loads of useful information for a beginning player. Wish it was around when I started in 1972. If you like Charlie Pride, see if you can find the "Live at Panther Hall" CD. It is Charlie with Lloyd Green playing the fills and breaks and it is a great CD for listening, learning and stealing licks. |
