Your timing is impeccable Johnny. I think its time I learn this and play it for the wife:( _________________ Shobud Pro1,BMI U12, Santa Cruz F, PRS Standard, Fender Twin Reverb, ‘53 000-28 |

This is great Johnny, many thanks!
I've been going back and revisiting Lightfoot because my hero of the acoustic guitar, Tony Rice is so big on him, and I've been checking out a lot of his versions to go along with the originals by Gordon. _________________ Mark |

Hi Johnny,
I really appreciate your many out-of-the-box tab postings here on the forum. It's great for PSG when people can hear the instrument used in non-traditional tunes.
Thanks Again,
Robert |

You're welcome Robert. I agree, we have to take this instrument beyond traditional tunes to open it up to those who have heard a pedal steel but don't know anything about the instrument. |

Johnny,
I have just discovered your free tabs with demos and tracks from this post. These are great. Thank you very much. The tab is very clear and it is so very helpful to have the demo tracks to go along with the tab.
I started chasing down the previous ones by searching your posts in the forum until I came to your original post saying you intended to publish the full list of 30 songs that you had worked up with Roy Thomson. I would like to collect them all and I am curious how many of the 30 songs have already been put up here on the forum. Knowing how many there are to find could facilitate my detective work to find them all.
And thanks again for sharing these. That is very generous of you. I think they are great learning resources for wannabe players like me. |

Dale:
Thanks for the kind words and acknowledgement of my recent tab postings. It's a bit of a mystery as to how many people actually download the TAB posted whether it is from me or anybody else. It takes time to prepare the TAB, find or program the backing tracks, and record a quick simple demo. It is the players role to enhance my simple TAB. I will continue to post TAB if the effort is appreciated by guys like you. I just posted another...."I Will Always Love You". Thanks again, Johnny. |
