Gorgeous... I would love that but I just can't justify a 5th D10 at the house. _________________ Steve Stallings

Last call for prospective buyers to make adds or changes at the Rittenberry headquarters. You would have to option to add custom copedant or potentially another KL.
Mr. Rittenberry will be shipping the Ritt to Wisconsin next week.
Thanks !!!! _________________ Mark Twang |

If I am not mistaken, this is the Rittenberry that Murnel Babineaux and I played that was the catalyst for serial numbers 58, 59, and 60 being built.....

Joe,
I don't know for sure about that, but I do know it spent a short time in Cajun country, and I have not seen another with this apron design.
Can you give us any more insight? _________________ Mark Twang |

It was originally built for a gentleman down here. Murnel and I spent some time putting it through the paces. Murnel and I decided that night to order one apiece. We discussed with Richard Comeaux the following day, he did the same sight unseen and sound unheard....going by what we discussed. So, all 3 serial numbers were back to back...
It is a great guitar, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it...

I purchased this guitar from Danny Cormier and you are correct, it is an absolutely wonderful instrument. The sole reason for selling was that at that time I owned eight additional steels (ridiculous, I know!) and had decided at that point to slowly reduce my inventory to simply two, those being my pair of Emmons short key head guitars. |

I will add that if playing through the Walker Stereo Steel unit, the Wallace single coil pickups sound best. The Lawrence humbucker seems to work better for all else.
David, you might of gotten rid of the wrong guitar...LOL!!!

The only reason I traded this steel off was to pay for a Rittenberry Prestige. This is one sweet sounding and playing guitar.
Gary got this guitar exactly right. |

Rittenberry guitar. Hey guys,Tootie Serice here. I think that is my Rittenberry the Gary built for me. I pretty sure that Joe and Murnell tried the guitar out at my house using my stereo steel setup.Danny got the guitar from me and I dont know why I sold it, dumb I guess. But I think this is how it went down I think, but I could be full of it too. Great hearing from you guys.

Mark..I noticed that as the guitar changed hands that Gary would amend the site to reflect the present owner, at one time my name was featured below the photo. |

These are the best guitars on the market in my opinion. Gary is a brilliant engineer and they sound and play perfect. Someone please grab this up. If I played 10 string it'd be mine. Great guitar and gorgeous. |

Scott, I agree with everything you said !!! 3 or 4 years ago Zummies were still within the grasp of most players, not so much anymore.
Some of the "old timers" here on the forum have recently "rolled" into ownership of Rittenberry guitars.
These guys recognize quality, and a good investment grade pedal steel guitar.

Fabulous guitars. If I didn't already have one very much like this, I'd be after it like a hound after a bunny! |

Only sold this guitar to pay Gary for my new S-10 with 5 pedals and 5 knee levers. Great guitar in every way just to heavy to fly with. New one is 50lbs on the dot. _________________ Daniel J. Cormier
