I just wanted to put in a good word for our very own Ricky Davis. This tune "I Need Wine" is from Weldon Henson's 2015 CD "Honky Tonk Frontier"....lots of that great Texas honky tonk steel by Ricky on the whole album. It was recorded at Tommy Detamore's Cherry Ridge Studio so you KNOW the steel's going to sound great in the mix

You, Tommy Detamore, and Steve Palousek have the style, sound, and licks that for me is what pedal steel is all about...let 'er rip! Thanks for the music and I'm looking forward to Weldon's #5.

Man! That was awesome, love the steel on this. Thanks for bringing this one up, Jeff, I had never heard it before. I really dig most everything Ricky does and have about wore out all my Dale Watson stuff.

Good stuff. Hey, I even picked up a lick or two. The descending lick at the end of the first verse was perfect.

Thanks Clyde; that's very awesome of you. Heck; I picked that lick up from a Fiddle player I used to play with and incorporated it to a lick on pedal steel...ha.
