This might sound odd.. In order to "somewhat" isolate a vocal, Is there such a thing as software to remove the music, but leave the vocal?
The opposite of a vocal remover.
Thanks in advance. _________________ Just 'cause I look stupid, don't mean I'm not. |

Not really. You can isolate part of the stereo field, part of the frequency spectrum, or both...but still you will hear a "ghost" of the music in the background. Short of getting the original multi-track recording & soloing the vocal track, there's really no perfect way to do this, that I've heard of...
That said, Riffstation does a pretty good job of zeroing in on a particular element.

Thanks Bryan. This is onje of those little projects that will never be "perfect". Just have to do our best. _________________ Just 'cause I look stupid, don't mean I'm not. |
