This is an Emmons Lashley LeGrande Ultra Match model LL30. This is a matchbox type of device. It's a little different from the Goodrich Matchbox: the Emmons Ultra Match has a bypass switch, an "expand" control which adds highs and may be increasing the effect of the buffer , and a "boost" control which increases gain. There is also a jack for a power adapter,This unit sounds really good. The Emmons Ultra Match has a bit twangier tone , and as much gain as as q Goodrich 7A. You use the bypass switch for a clean boost. I have been told this is a rare Emmons item, It originally came with a AC power adapter, but i do not have it. It also runs on 2 9V batteries.
