| None of the musicians get any credit for playing with Joe Diffie. I have searched and my album does not show any credits. |

The 2 songs I like the best are "Is it cold in here"
and "if you want me to" Of course I like Prop me up beside the jukebox.
Thanks for the info. I will listen and see if I can detect a style of any of these players in his music. |

This makes you a Paul Franklin fan (aren't we all?)...
Paul plays on "Is It Cold In Here", "If You Want Me To", and the SONG "Honky Tonk Attitude". "Prop Me Up" is on the ALBUM "Honky Tonk Attitude" but PF, Bruce Bouton, and John Hughey are all listed on the album credits. |

I am a strong fan of all these players named.
I took a beginner's course by Bruce Bouton 11 years ago. |

| I've noticed on a lot of Greatest Hits albums they don't make the effort to list the musicians on each track which is too bad - you're lucky to get a list of song titles. If you can find which original album the song was taken from, that's your best bet to hunt down the steel player but even that doesn't always work. |
