I wounder if the Steelaire can be use as a 2 chanel amp like a twin? I see 2 chanel on the Steelaire but only one EQ.

I use a silverface twin for my pedal steel and Dobro, using the Jerry Douglas pickup and pedal and it work fine but I use a very different EQ and gain on each chanel.

I don't have a Steelaire but doesn't it have an effects loop? If the Douglas pedal has its own EQ and can drive the effects return, you could plug it in there through an AB switch, with the effects send going to the other side of the AB switch. Just a thought...

The gain can be set for each channel separately, but the eq setting not. You could use an effect with its own equalizer in the effects loop and use the remote control of the Quilter to switch on or off the effects loop. The switch is sold separate.
