| I am making errors with my foot pedal work on the C6 neck from imprecise movements of the toot. Any pointers? |

| I leave my left foot planted on pedals 5 & 6, and move my right foot off the volume pedal to play pedals 7 & 8. |

At Reece Anderson's suggestion, I figured out how the pedals lined up with fretboard and "aimed" my feet that way, until they knew where to go.
I really understand that feeling - on my U12, there are 8 pedals that can and sometimes are used in one song, although the ones I use the most are 3-8, plus the 5 knees. Pedal 3 still gives me trouble sometimes!
Good luck - it is a doable task! I was sure I'd never get it (been playing about 6 years), but it is coming along, finally

Thanks for the suggestions. After another frustrating performance with the pedals on the C6 neck, I had an epiphany: adjust the pedal height to vary, so I can "feel" my way from P4 through P 7.
Like the contour of pedals A, B and C on the E9 neck.
That said, what do experienced C6 players recommend for the comparative heights. My guess?here goes:
P5 and P7 high, and same height. P6 lowest, P5 slightly lower than P4. Comments most welcome!!! |
