We had a real nice concert featuring Joe Wright . Joe played a variety of songs and had his best stories & jokes that I have heard him do. David Smith came up from Nashville to play bass.
The local players all did a great job too. Joe was on in the mid-way point so he could handle his booth better. I also had several guys asking about the Benado Steel Dream .
Some things that come to mind , are the tone that Charlie Morris got from his dobro, David Graves ability on several instruments , and a surprise visit from Mickey Adams. Donnie Unterfer gave us some fine "Chet" style guitar, too. Thanks to all the players and to Sharon for the effort to organize the show. |
