One of the greatest guys and bassists to ever grace Nashville, Chap succumbed to cancer Monday night. He was only 63. His list of accomplishments is stunning, and his humility was even more so. He will be greatly missed.

I'm sorry to hear of Mike's passing, I used him on many recording over the years. Fantastic guy and really good session leader. RIP Mike.
