I just ordered a set of new legs with the old Valco sized threads, 3/8" by 16 threading, from Alan Ray at suncoasteasycom located in Nashville Tenn, phone 615-669-5347 for a reasonable price of 4/$139 plus shipping. These are chrome on steel, he has the stainless steel as well.
I needed a set for my National Grande console.
Just wanted to post this as from time to time one of us is asking where to find legs with this size fitting.

If you already have legs but the threads aren't right a trip to the hardware store can offer a low cost alternative. I was able to use brass plumbing fittings and threaded rod to adapt legs for a Supro (I had to use a tap to thread the inside of the flare fittings.)

Or as an alternative to the above, you can simply buy a bolt that has 3/8 16 threads, run a stand off or a couple nuts don't to the head and turn them to size on a lathe.
Pliobond locks the threads in place. It helps to turn the head of the bolt first, then add the nuts, that way the rotation of the lathe tightens the nuts.
I have a whole lot of oddball steels and have had to make legs or replace missing inserts, and some of the inserts have been strange sizes.

How much did the lathe cost? I think new legs might be cheaper.

I have a lathe and a Bridgeport so it is nothing.
If you find a compassionate music lover nearby with a lathe they will make the insets from scratch for cocktail. The reason I mentioned using bolts is that it is sometimes harder to make a thread cutting tool that will leave a zero shoulder than it is to machine nuts or a threaded spacer mounted on the threaded stock, in which case you get a zero shoulder.

Got the legs today and they are really beauties. I told Mr Ray at Suncoasteasycom that they aren't as curvaceous as the "leg lamp", but they will sure make my National Grande stand up and whistle.
