We have the markers you're looking for.They're split plastic collars that slip right onto your rods.They're white with black numbers and are readily visable.
Just slide them on over the hooks and down to the couplers. $2.00 each includes shipping anywhere in the continental U.S.

I just got a couple of new steels from Bill and the new rod markers are on mine. They are real neat!

It looks like Lefty has another dynomite line up. I'm looking forward to it.

Erv, anything Bill does is "neat". He builds a fine guitar. I sure love mine.
