I hope this will be beneficial to the forum, I couldn't find a thread on this yet. What are some of your favorite instructional videos on YouTube? I like Mickey's and Bobbe Seymour's videos.

On a side note, I'm very grateful for all who put in the time and effort to post YouTube videos as free instruction and share their valuable thoughts and ideas.

Anything Buddy.......or John Hughey.........or Paul Franklin.......or Mike Johnson........or any of the hundreds of videos put together by the members here that will answer a question or give insight on how to play a certain passage, or a question of any pertinance to playing, tuning, or repairing the Pedal Steel Guitar. Everytime you see a link in a post, watch it and you will learn or see something cool

Zane King's YouTube videos are great for us using Zane Beck's E9/B6 tuning and he also has wonderful rthym tracks!

In addition to Mickey's videos, some of my favorites are not on YouTube at all - those are Joe Wright's free videos over at Sierra Steels's website. Each video is about 30 mins to an hour long, if memory serves, and there were 12 of them up there for free. Now there appear to be 24.

It's so easy for anyone to make a video now, and distribute them over the Internet. I wonder what Jeff Newman would have to say about all the free instructional videos on YouTube now. Never mind, I think I've got a good idea. Very Happy Whoa! Very Happy

You bring up a good point that there are sites with instructional video other than YouTube. I'd like to open up the OP to all of the internet, not just YouTube.... Great ideas, thank you.
