Robbie Flint. Robbie also plays in Alan's band The Strayhorns.

Thanks. They really buried it in the mix imho. Didn't get how awesome the licks were until I listened closely.

Actually Paul Franklin is listed as the studio artist playing pedal steel, dobro, and lap steel. Most artists rarely use players from their band in the studio.

I should add that Robbie Flint is listed as also playing lap steel on the album, but I'm not sure which songs he played on.

Paul Franklin played on most of AJ's stuff through the years. If you get familiar with different pro steelers' style and licks you can usually tell who's playing pretty easily.

That's true. I was listening to some of A J's stuff awhile back and thought, that does not sound like Paul Franklin. Turns out it was Lloyd Green.
