greenwood, Mississippi: this Friday nite,on the 3rd of june at Tallahatchie flats on money road, just west of the Tallahatchie bridge & the bobbie gentry country music trail marker, a journey down Mississippi's country music trail, will honor the 49th anniversary of the release of the classic, "ode to billy joe", the song that earned miss bobbie gentry, her place on the Mississippi country music trail and into the hearts of many....
this 2 hour show will be reminisce of an old time country music package show, in that it is made-up of an 8 piece band, featuring fiddle and pedal sreel. plus,back-up singers and 8 special guest singers as we represent the trail markers of, Charlie pride, elvis Presley, mac McAnally, tammy wynette, faith hill, Conway twitty, o.b. mclinton, hank Cochran,carl jackson, johnny Russell, ben peters, moe bandy, willie narmour & shel smith,hoyt ming and marty stuart. showtime @ 7pm - $12.00/under 12 free
