I bought a NV 112 locally and a Goodrich Matchbox 6A, a Linkon volume pedal and a pack-a-seat were basically thrown in for free.
I'm running 2 NV 112's in stereo, though a t.c. electronics Nova Delay pedal (incredible pedal BTW). When I try the Matchbox without running it through a volume pedal, it works fine. But when I add my volume pedal, the Matchbox cuts out - with only a very low level scratchy sound coming out of it.
I've tried it with both my Sho-Bud volume pedal and my Goodrich 120 - same problem. The batteries are brand new in the Matchbox.
I'm really intrigued by this pedal - I could see how it could be really useful. But I can't seem to get it to work with either of my volume pedals.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance. _________________ PSGs: Derby D-10, Sho-Bud Pro II Custom, Mullen Discovery

I'd suspect that your cables or the jacks have issues _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

The Matchbox may require a mono jack to turn it on... is one of your cords TRS (stereo)? Very common for battery powered boxes to use a TRS plug on the input, with the barrel (sleeve) of the 1/4" plug making the battery circuit. _________________ New FB Page: Lap Steel Licks And Stuff: https://www.facebook.com/groups/195394851800329 |

If the cable running from Matchbox > Nova Delay pedal works OK, use that same cable from Matchbox > volume pedal and use a new cable from volume pedal > Nova Delay pedal. _________________ Jerry Jones |
