I bought a NV 112 locally and a Goodrich Matchbox 6A, a Linkon volume pedal and a pack-a-seat were basically thrown in for free.

I'm running 2 NV 112's in stereo, though a t.c. electronics Nova Delay pedal (incredible pedal BTW). When I try the Matchbox without running it through a volume pedal, it works fine. But when I add my volume pedal, the Matchbox cuts out - with only a very low level scratchy sound coming out of it.

I've tried it with both my Sho-Bud volume pedal and my Goodrich 120 - same problem. The batteries are brand new in the Matchbox.

I'm really intrigued by this pedal - I could see how it could be really useful. But I can't seem to get it to work with either of my volume pedals.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'd suspect that your cables or the jacks have issues

The Matchbox may require a mono jack to turn it on... is one of your cords TRS (stereo)? Very common for battery powered boxes to use a TRS plug on the input, with the barrel (sleeve) of the 1/4" plug making the battery circuit.

If the cable running from Matchbox > Nova Delay pedal works OK, use that same cable from Matchbox > volume pedal and use a new cable from volume pedal > Nova Delay pedal.
