Nice. I have its twin (with two extra knees). Also, I didn't have the rods for the C6 hooked up in this pic.

Right on Patrick, love those Carters!!!!
I have been recently been turnin' up the juice on my evangelizing of the Carter nameplates.
Most of my recent acquisitions have been selling prior to listing by word of mouth. Found a cool prototype S-10 a couple weeks back that was never sold or brought into production.
Folks all around the world are becoming educated on John Fabian, his vision for technology and his love of the pedal steel guitar and of course the legacy of Bud Carter and his deep rooted history with MSA!!!!
Quality and tone offer buyers the most bang for the buck in today's market. Some of the "Custom Shop" guitars are now highly sought after in the modern day pedal steel market, Especially in Europe and Australia !!! Here's one with a Mark Giles cabinet built for the 2005 ISGC.
If anyone is looking to sell any of these please email me and we can see if work out a deal .

Hi Mark, I sold this beauty last week. Built in 2006
8 x 8 Premium Necks XR16 p/ups. I also had the Carter "1000" built in 2002 to celebrate the building of 1000 Pro guitars. It is owned by a local player here in Northern Ireland.

....Another thumbs up for Carter guitars. They definitely deserve more respect than they get. They are nothing whatever like the Starter which might have something to do with their apparent lack of reputation.

If you ever get the chance to play a carter you will want it for sure. I have played 2. They play and sound awesome and this one looks great too. If I could afford another guitar I would buy. You won't find anyone better to deal with than Mark. Hope it sells soon if not I may want it when I can afford.

Hi Gerald,
The Carter has the original hard shell case in excellent condition. This is included in the price.
As far as "extras" I have just about anything you need in used equipment.
Please feel free to call if you have questions. I will send a PM with my phone number.
This Carter is one heck of a player w/lots of "feel" in the knees and pedals. Body sonic density and tone control changer provide for optimum play ability.
Have a great weekend!

Mark

I have one, along with several other brands. It has the XR16 pickups and the sound is great. Good guitars for the money.

You just can't beat the Carters for value, serviceability, and tone.
Jerry Roller recommended a 710 for the Kroger neck for optimum sonics. We put a 710 on another D10 we have and have to say it took it up a notch or two on the sound.
Thanks for the comments Ray.

Ed,
Absolutely,
Sho Buds are the baseline on which all other pedal steel guitars are judged
If a guitar sounds great the owner will say
"sounds just like an old sho bud"!!!!!!!
Please send me a PM

Thanks for your note !!!
