I have several Mullen steels, but if you heard me play you'd know that doesn't mean much. |

New to the forum, I just purchase S 10 Mullen Descovery 3 pedals, it is two years old.The action is incredible. Wore out a Sho Bud and a Carter starter that I inherited. All the notes go to tune and come back to tune, it's a wonderful thing. |

Here's a few that I owned in better times. They fell victim to economics.[As did the SF III]. I've owned 4 of them in my time. All PRP's from the '90's. D10's 8+8.
Even though I don't presently own a Mullen, or any other at this time, I have since the middle 90's and I still consider myself a Mullen player. I hope there's another one in my future.

Happy Days !!! Resting in the calm warm waters of owning probably the best steel guitar made today and knowing it has superlative tone and precise and positive action which is so light to actuate.
It does everything I want it to do ,so now I can concentrate on my playing and not think I need another steel anymore.Thank you Mullen.

I have a PRP purchased new from Billy Cooper's Music in 1995. Great steel guitar. I've owned four
other steels but this one is the best by far (IMHO). |

Here's mine. I call this one "Blackie". That's probably because it's black. If it was red, it would be called "Bluey" (it's an Australian thing):-
Got this one from the legendary Al Brisco. Beautiful guitar, plays like butter and cuts like a straight-razor. _________________ The steel guitar is a hard mistress. She will obsess you, bemuse and bewitch you. She will dash your hopes on what seems to be whim, only to tease you into renewing the relationship once more so she can do it to you all over again...and yet, if you somehow manage to touch her in that certain magic way, she will yield up a sound which has so much soul, raw emotion and heartfelt depth to it that she will pierce you to the very core of your being. |
