Give a shout to Jim Palenscar, Steel Guitars of North County. He can hook you up with the new Goodrich Co. _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |

Rick, he said he had no response from the new Goodrich.
That DOES sound odd, try calling them.
There's also Jerry Roller or Tom Bradshaw, and both will put leads on them for you. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Something is amiss as I received no call and I know Kevin to be Johnny-on-the-spot but will let him know about this thread. |

I have had some problem getting a response. I wanted some parts and initially got a response, but when I asked how much money to send, I got no answer. |

Thanks for the plug Jerry.
Sorry I did not get to this post earlier.
Yep, I stock the new Goodrich Volume Pots and Volume Pedals.
My intent is to be a source for steelers at a very fair price. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. Common mistakes/things to watch for:
Don't let the brass collar rub the bracket. 1/32" is adequate clearance.
Take pictures of the string routing.
It's easier to do if you separate the halves.
There's a set screw holding the axle in the bottom half. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Also, remember that the pedal won't go from full on to full off. This is by design to protect the pot.
It's easiest to set it for full-on operation.
Once the two halves are back together, rotate pot to fully clockwise and press the pedal down. Wrap the string, keeping it semi-tight (no slack, but too tight and it will put stress on the pot). _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
