Hello all ,I'm just finishing up a 15 day run with the Reverend Horton Heat and played Lansing, Ferndale, Grand Rapids, and Ann Arbor Michigan and every night I've had four or six bands asking me where they can find steel players lap and pedal willing to play,
so all of you Michigan players looking for real honky tonk/old school country gigs get on face book and Craigslist and even bars where real bands are playing and you can find some work.
Just doing my part to help y'all out

I'm heading out to play a gig at the Tip Top in Grand Rapids tonight. Oddly, I found this post trying to see if there were any steel related things I should check out... So I guess this answers my question!

Hey Karl, I was playing with Jeff German in his band the Blankety Blanks. But The Juke Joint Handmedowns also had a great guy, Paul?, on steel. What a cool spot the Tip Top is!
